The Royal Blue Overdrive is an overdrive pedal with a transparent and dynamic tone and feel. The Royal Blue Overdrive gives you many potentials from light overdrive to heavy distortion. The overdrive is very dynamic, allowing you to experience the break-up effect of a tube amp by playing louder or softer through the pedal. The bass and treble controls allows you to adjust the tone completely to your own taste. The royal blue in a clean amp makes it possible to experience earlier break-up to a slight overdrive. If the amp already has a slight overdrive, the royal blue will increase expressiveness and it will keep the dynamics. This overdrive pedal reacts also very well to your volume knob on the guitar. A straightforward overdrive pedal that does exactly what it is supposed to do. Lots of feel and tone. CONTROLS VOLUME: Sets the overall output level of the pedal. DISTORTION: controls distortion, for most dynamic response set where the amount of distortion is controllable with picking force. TREBLE: A boost/cut “shelving” type equalizer that controls the amount of high-end, operating where the Presence control is on most amplifiers. Treble can be used to add shimmer to even bright amplifiers without interfering with a typical treble boost of most amplifiers. BASS: A boost/cut shelving type equalizer that controls the low end, just above resonance of a standard 4×12 cabinet. With both Bass and Treble turned up, you can get a scooped heavy tone; turn the knobs down for soft mid-boost tone. SETTINGS For Midboost: set Treble and Bass fully CCW. For Midcut: set Treble and Bass fully CW.
